This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit also data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller will delay your vw fault. |
04247 Possible Causes:
04247 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 04247 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
