Staring in engine load signal, error message from ecu causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high . So for next exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance is the final reason of the code. |
04243 Possible Causes:
04243 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04243 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
