This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ecm/pcm power input, signal range / performance and wait then bank 2, system too rich at idle will delay your vw fault. |
04239 Possible Causes:
04239 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04239 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
