04237 Description And Summary : |

When you open ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start clutch pressure, adaptation at limit you can see the secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04237 Possible Causes:
04237 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04237 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control: open stop outside of valid range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
