04230 Possible Causes:
04230 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

- Inspect all the connections cylinder 7 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
