Staring in engine nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for coolant system circuit, low / intermittent and please check dtc memory of instrument cluster will delay your vw fault. |
04229 Possible Causes:
04229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04229 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake flap motor 2 (v275), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
