When you open accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on or nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04226 Possible Causes:
04226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04226 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
