Staring in engine control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to b+ you can see the fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04226 Possible Causes:
04226 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04226 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
