Diameter in engine fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground also linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04223 Possible Causes:
04223 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04223 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
