Diameter in engine control unit programming, programming not finished run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e' / 'f', voltage correlation or change charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04222 Possible Causes:
04222 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04222 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
