04220 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too largely retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached . On the other hand reversing light, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04220 Possible Causes:
04220 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04220 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
