Staring in engine cylinder 8 above knock threshold causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low or change nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
04219 Possible Causes:
04219 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04219 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
