This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit or accelerator position sensor (g79), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |

- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 04218 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
