04213 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault crankshaft position signal output, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
04213 Possible Causes:
04213 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04213 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
