04209 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine ignition switch accessory position, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed nox sensor bank 2, circuit also load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04209 Possible Causes:
04209 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04209 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
