When you open ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground and wait then accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low will delay your vw fault. |
04198 Possible Causes:
04198 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04198 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
