The problem is about fuel pump 2 circuit, electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit low . On the other hand generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
04189 Possible Causes:
04189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04189 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), regulation range exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
