This code were stamped on VW Engine case torque management feedback signal "b" causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of clutch ecu . So for next data bus powertrain missing message from awd controller is the final reason of the code. |
04189 Possible Causes:
04189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04189 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
