The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent or change butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04189 Possible Causes:
04189 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04189 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid c (n388), signal low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
