Diagnosing engine bar with fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 1) you can see the intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 1 will delay your vw fault. |
04188 Possible Causes:
04188 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04188 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant pump control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
