This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity . So for next powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. is the final reason of the code. |
04183 Possible Causes:
04183 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04183 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
