04182 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean or change valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
04182 Possible Causes:
04182 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04182 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
