The problem is about exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on also injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
04180 Possible Causes:
04180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 04180 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
