04180 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ecm/pcm power input, signal or change supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04180 Possible Causes:
04180 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04180 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
