When you open reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake planetary overdrive / low range, mechanical malfunction and fuel mode indicator lamp control, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04179 Possible Causes:
04179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 04179 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
