The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system control 'a', circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more torque management request input signal b, range / performance or change mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high is the final reason of the code. |
04177 Possible Causes:
04177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 04177 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
