Accumulated in electronic control units so coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of air condition ecu you can see the exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
04177 Possible Causes:
04177 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 04177 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
