This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for engine storage (n144/145), interruption / short-circuit after mass it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'l' primary control, circuit low . On the other hand exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
04168 Possible Causes:
04168 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 04168 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
