Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance and fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
04167 Possible Causes:
04167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 04167 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
