Staring in engine glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles injector cylinder 15 (n392), circuit low . On the other hand ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
04167 Possible Causes:
04167 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 04167 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control
