When you open reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes before kat exchanges or pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04163 Possible Causes:
04163 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04163 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
