This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pre-catalyst exhaust bank 4 effect too small retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm power input, signal high or valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
04162 Possible Causes:
04162 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Inspect all the connections cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
