This code were stamped on VW Engine case ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, no communication and activation starter relay 2, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04149 Possible Causes:
04149 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04149 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
