When you open fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control of valves pump / nozzle, short-circuit after pluses and fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
04140 Possible Causes:
04140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04140 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
