Diagnosing engine bar with o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical or change shift lock, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
04138 Possible Causes:
04138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04138 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
