04132 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain, implausible message from engine controller and exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
04132 Possible Causes:
04132 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04132 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
