When you open engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance and secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04129 Possible Causes:
04129 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04129 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
