The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean you can see the intake air heater "a", circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
04121 Possible Causes:
04121 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 04121 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
