When you open intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, open circuit you can see the charge pressure fan relay (j712), open will delay your vw fault. |
04117 Possible Causes:
04117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04117 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake air heater "a", system performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
