This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit range / performance bank 2 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake please check dtc memory of air condition ecu or evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
04116 Possible Causes:
04116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04116 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
