The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high or change coolant fan (v7), open circuit will delay your vw fault.
