04103 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 2 electrical error in the electric circuit or event data recorder request, circuit low will delay your vw fault.

04103 Possible Causes:

04103 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Reverse Input Circuit
  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 04103 Code

  • Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
