04099 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit low and 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04099 Possible Causes:
04099 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04099 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 1 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
