The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low you can see the engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
04091 Possible Causes:
04091 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 04091 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
