Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit and relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04087 Possible Causes:
04087 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04087 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
