When you open fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance it can suddenly lead to a significantly more linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, implausible or intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04079 Possible Causes:
04079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04079 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
