The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high you can see the system too lean at higher load, bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
04078 Possible Causes:
04078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 04078 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too lean at higher load, bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
