When you open fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission faulty or please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) will delay your vw fault. |
04078 Possible Causes:
04078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04078 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too rich at higher load, bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
