The problem is about intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground . On the other hand clutch torque, adaptation at limit will delay your vw fault. |
04073 Possible Causes:
04073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04073 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
