Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor please check dtc memory of adr control module also secondary air injection system pump bank 2, stuck off will delay your vw fault. |
04071 Possible Causes:
04071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 04071 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
