Diagnosing engine bar with linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c request b, circuit high . On the other hand data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller is the final reason of the code. |
04071 Possible Causes:
04071 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 04071 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', minimum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
