This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission control unit, incorrect coded . So for next ignition coil cylinder 14, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
04068 Possible Causes:
04068 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04068 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
