04066 Description And Summary : |

When you open throttle position output, circuit / open causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit also intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
04066 Possible Causes:
04066 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 04066 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
