This something to do with the intake camshaft timing radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust gas temperature control bank 3, range / performance also idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high is the final reason of the code. |
04063 Possible Causes:
04063 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 04063 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
