Accumulated in electronic control units so exhaust bank 3, probe 1 tension too largely retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit low . So for next reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
04061 Possible Causes:
04061 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 04061 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
