Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector control pressure regulator, circuit low . On the other hand a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
04057 Possible Causes:
04057 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 04057 Code
- Inspect all the connections particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
