This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity and reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
04046 Possible Causes:
04046 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 04046 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
