This something to do with the intake camshaft timing diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
04045 Possible Causes:
04045 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
